A community is most effective as a wealth, when its scope and purpose for existence is meaningful to its members. Nothing can be more meaningful to a community than its children. Children are the community’s future. As modern communities become increasingly diverse and sometimes segregated, it is our shared love for children that has the power to bring us together, to universally enhance our wellbeing.
What is a Child Centric Community?

Healthy and wholesome communities are child centric communities. In child centric communities, parents and guardians, brothers and sisters, grand parents and carers, teachers and mentors, and volunteers and sponsors come together for the happiness and wellbeing of our children.
Child centric communities are a great wealth not only because they are wholesome for children, but also because they are wholesome for adults. In child centric communities adults are blessed with opportunities to express their common nature to nurture. The expressions of love and kindness, when appreciated by children or by the community, rewards us with the bliss of happiness. Such blissful actions give meaning and purpose to our existence.
Loving kindness is the very essence of our humanity. United by this common humanity, we can nurture a community spirit that is centered around children, both locally and globally. Child centric communities are indeed the true measure of civilization.

How do we create a Child Centric Community?

Our aim must be to bring children back into the centre of community life.
In our endeavours (cultural, economic or legislative), our paramount consideration must always be that which is in the best interest of our children, both locally and globally.
